After another month of public beta testing, Garmin has begun rolling out firmware version 15.74 for the Fenix 7 series. In summary, the company completed Garmin's 14.xx beta period with firmware version 14.68, the most recent update for its flagship smartwatches. It looks like the company's 15.xx beta builds have culminated in v15.74, but it's unclear when any 16.xx successors will be released.

As of right now, Garmin reports that 20% of compatible models—which also include the Fenix 7 Pro series—have updated to v15.74. These models include the Quatix 7, Enduro 2, MARQ Gen 2, Epix 2, and Tactix 7 smartwatches. Nonetheless, you can usually manually start a new update download by going to Menu, System, Software Update, and choosing 'Check for Updates'.

For comparison, it seems that all smartwatches are receiving the same 49 updates (25 of which are bug fixes) in version 15.74. Garmin also lists ten enhancements, including the elimination of the cap on the total number of points that can be earned in a course. Additionally, v15.74 adds Orange and Green colors to the Red Shift functionality—but only for AMOLED models. On the other hand, there are 14 new features total; the complete list is provided below.
