Facebook parent's head of communications resigns organization The head of communications at Facebook parent Meta Platforms Inc (FB.O), John Pinette, is leaving the organization, the online media organization said late on Friday. Chris Norton, VP of international communications, will cover the job on a break premise, a Meta representative said in a messaged assertion to Reuters. "John Pinette has left Meta. We are thankful for his positive contributions during an intense and significant time in the company’s history, and we wish him well going forward," the statement said. The representative declined to say why Pinette was leaving, refering to Meta strategy of not remarking on faculty matters. The Wall Street Journal initially announced Pinette's takeoff on Friday. Pinette was named VP of global communications in April 2019, as indicated by the organization's site. Prior to joining the organization, Pinette drove communications for Gates Ventures, the private office and development lab of Bill Gates, for quite a long time, and was the head of Asia Pacific communications for Google. He additionally held various item and corporate communications leadership positions at Microsoft Corp (MSFT.O).
