Amazfit recently unveiled the Amazfit Bip 5 Unity, a brand-new smartwatch for the global market. While it lacks some important features, the smartwatch is an alternative to the Amazfit Bip 5.
With a resolution of 320 x 280 pixels, the device has a 1.91-inch LCD display. The watch is enhanced in durability by its stainless steel frame and has an IP68 rating, meaning it can survive 30 minutes of submersion in fresh water up to 1.5 meters.
Amazfit's BioTracker PPG biometric sensor, which tracks blood oxygen levels and heart rate, is integrated into the smartwatch. In addition, the sensor sends out alerts in the event of low oxygen levels, excessive stress, or irregular heart rate readings. More than 120 sports modes are available on the Bip 5 Unity thanks to Amazfit. It also supports about 70 apps via its smartphone app and comes with Amazon Alexa for voice commands.
The watch's 300 mAh battery lasts for up to five days when used heavily, eleven days when used normally, or 26 days when used in battery-saving mode.
Right now, the Amazfit Bip 5 Unity can be purchased for $59.99 and £69.99 in the US and the UK, respectively. Though it hasn't yet disclosed information on pricing and availability for other regions, Amazfit intends to release the Bip 5 Unity worldwide.
