Apple Increases Apple Music Subscription Prices in the U.S. and Other Markets

  • 20-July-2026

Apple has increased the subscription cost of Apple Music across the United States and several other countries. Effective today, the Apple Music Individual plan is priced at $11.99 per month, up from $10.99.

The company has also raised pricing for certain Apple One subscription bundles.

Apple stated: “As a result of rising licensing costs, Apple Music is increasing its subscription price beginning today.”

Apple Music and Apple One Monthly Pricing Updated

Below are the revised monthly subscription rates for Apple Music and Apple One, effective today:

Apple Music

Individual: $11.99 (previously $10.99)
Family: $19.99 (previously $16.99)
Student: $6.99 (previously $5.99)

Apple One

Individual: $19.95 (unchanged)
Family: $27.95 (previously $25.95)
Premier: $39.95 (previously $37.95)

The latest Apple Music price adjustments follow Spotify’s own subscription increases announced earlier this year, which Apple previously joked about on social media. Despite the new pricing, Apple Music continues to cost less than Spotify.

This marks the first Apple Music subscription increase in nearly four years. Apple most recently adjusted pricing in October 2022, when the Individual plan rose from $9.99 to $10.99 per month. At the same time, the company also increased prices for Apple One bundles.

In October 2023, Apple also raised subscription rates for Apple TV, Apple Arcade, and Apple News+, along with the related Apple One packages.

Apple TV received another price increase in August 2025, although Apple One subscription pricing remained unchanged at that time.
