Call of Duty: Modern Warfare bothered with a bug that stops progress following in-game

  • 09-March-2020

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been a colossal achievement up until now, judging by its initial record sales end of the week in 2019, and sees a huge number of everyday players hopping in.

Recently, it appears that those players can't progress or push ahead in the game any longer. A new multiplayer bug influencing the blockbuster title is making all movement not be followed, which means players can't finish missions, gain XP in matches, rank up in the Battle Pass to unlock new content, or even work on improving their game stats. Infinity Ward, the developer behind the game, has recognized on Twitter that they are presently aware of the issue.

The bug has been going on since at least this afternoon, and Infinity Ward is as yet researching potential fixes.

Hopefully, players who are still in the game will have the option to recover all their lost progress, since the biggest appeal of Call of Duty's notorious multiplayer mode is the nearly endless number of ways players can follow their accomplishments and history in the game.
