Google has announced that its next Pixel launch event will take place on August 12 in New York City. The company has started sending invitations to selected media outlets and influencers, with the announcement arriving just hours after a leak reportedly revealed the pricing and release date of the upcoming Pixel 11 lineup.
Over the past two years, Google has shifted its Pixel launch schedule from October to August. As a result, the expected debut of the Pixel 11 during the second week of August comes as little surprise.
The event in New York on August 12 is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. ET, several hours later than Google's typical keynote start time.
Made by Google 2026 will officially be held on Wednesday, August 12. The event is taking place one week earlier than last year's launch, with Google once again choosing to unveil its latest Pixel hardware ahead of its traditional schedule.
New York City will host the Made by Google event for the second consecutive year. Google issued invitations approximately five weeks before the keynote.
The Made by Google 2026 keynote will begin at 3 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. ET. In its official invitation, Google is teasing “the next generation of Pixel,” accompanied by an image featuring a shiny gold-colored metal frame.
