Google has increased the price of its 4K streaming box to $149, representing a $50 increase from its original $99 price. The updated price is now listed at the Google Store and Best Buy, although Amazon still appears to be selling it at the original price.
The price increase arrives only a few weeks after Google introduced its latest Pixel 11 phone lineup with a $100 increase compared with the Pixel 10 models.
The Google TV Streamer first debuted in 2024 and also functions as a smart home hub. It is not the only streaming product to become more expensive — shortages of components have been pushing up costs across products ranging from laptops to game consoles.
