A new update that is being released in China brings HarmonyOS 4 to a high-end Huawei wristwatch. Multiple multitasking interfaces and vitality rings are just two of the many new features that the software adds to the wearables. Additionally, the display layout and app animations have been improved with this release.

China users of the Watch Ultimate smartwatch can now download a new update from Huawei. With HarmonyOS 4, a number of features and enhancements for the watch are included in software version 4.0.0.182(C00M00) of the high-end wearable.

Three new vitality rings for activity hours, activity calories, and exercise duration are among them. Huawei says you can use these trackers to create exercise habits by setting daily goals. Double-clicking the up button brings up a new interface for managing tasks. You can quickly open, close, and switch between apps with this mode.

Huawei also mentions that you can quickly return to some background-running apps by using a shortcut in the form of a small icon at the top of the screen; a list of these apps is not supplied.

App names have been added to the "chessboard" display layout, and you can rotate the crown to enlarge the image for a clearer view. Additionally, you have the ability to alter the data and layout of the workout widget for specific exercise kinds. Improved golf course mode functionality, more readable fonts and colors on display, and improved app icon animations are among the optimizations.

The Huawei Watch Ultimate's software, version 4.0.0.182(C00M00), is 160 MB in size and can be downloaded using the Huawei Health app. It's unclear when or if the software will be made available in other nations.
