Joseph Gordon-Levitt reacts to thought of Batman collaborate with Keaton, Affleck

Gordon-Levitt, who played Batman's replacement in The Dark Knight Rises, answers in case he'd be in the mood for collaborating with Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck.

"That's a really, really funny question," Gordon-Levitt told Jake's Takes when asked if he'd be willing to play Robin or Nightwing alongside Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton, who are both reprising their roles as Batman in the upcoming film. "I have no idea. I'm, to be perfectly honest, completely out of touch with everything you just said."

"I really want to see you suit up as Robin or Nightwing," Hamilton said, joking that he would get Gordon-Levitt up to speed on all of the DCEU's developments. "I think it would be awesome."

"Hey, that sounds great," Gordon-Levitt responded.

Gordon-Levitt played the part of Gotham City police office John Blake in The Dark Knight Rises. Presented as a cop who found Bruce Wayne's secret identity and was settled to help the Dark Knight, Blake bore the lawful name Robin, as uncovered in the film's finale. One of the last scenes in The Dark Knight Rises showed him rising a platform in the Batcave.

The Flash will highlight different versions of the Dark Knight in what is generally anticipated to be a prologue to the Multiverse, inspired by the Flashpoint comic book story circular segment.

Keaton, who featured in Tim Burton's Batman and Batman Returns, will purportedly return as an older rendition of the Caped Crusader, while Affleck will likewise show up as the more current DCEU Batman. Affleck and Keaton will be joined by Sasha Calle, who plays Supergirl, while Ezra Miller will repeat his job as the Flash.

Directed by Andy Muschetti and featuring Ezra Miller, The Flash shows up in theaters on Nov. 4, 2022.
