The latest version of Apple Watch OS, watchOS 10.2, is now available

Apple has released watchOS 10.2 for users of Apple Watches in addition to iOS 17.2, which comes with a slew of new features. Updates to the Health app's Siri integration, a simpler method for changing watch faces, and other improvements are included in this update.

What has watchOS 10.2 added?

Apple lists the following features as new in watchOS 10.2:

Use Siri to view and record data from the Health app (available on the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2).

See Now automatically playing media from music or podcasts when near a HomePod (2nd generation) or HomePod mini (available on Apple Watch Series 6 and later and Apple Watch Ultra)

Turn on the option in Settings to swap out watch faces with a swipe.

Turn on the Settings option to validate the conclusion of workouts.

For the majority of Fitness+ workouts, prioritize the loudness of the trainer's voice or the music.

fixes a bug that could prevent watch faces added in the iPhone Watch app from showing up on the Apple Watch.

You can update your Apple Watch by opening the Settings app on the Apple Watch or by using the companion app. The update that is available for any Apple Watch that can run watchOS 10 is build number 21S364.
