Knoxville will host KISS's final tour this fall

KISS is coming to East Tennessee for the final leg of their farewell tour after more than 40 years of rocking stages all over the world.

According to a Live Nation press release, the rock legends announced their "absolute final shows of their final tour" on Wednesday. The "End of the Road Tour" first began in 2019, but COVID-19 forced many of the shows scheduled for 2020 to be postponed.

On Friday, November 24, KISS will rock and roll all night long at Knoxville's Thompson-Boling Arena as one of the final 19 concerts this fall in the United States and Canada.

Livenation.com ticket sales for the general public will begin on March 10 at 10 a.m. The band's official fan club, KISS Army, will begin presale on March 6, with additional presales scheduled for the week prior to general sales.

On December 1 and 2, the tour will come to an end with two nights at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Since the University of Tennessee began selling alcohol at campus venues in 2019, KISS will join a long list of rock icons who have performed at Thompson-Boling Arena.

As part of their 50th Anniversary tour, Journey and Toto recently performed there. In 2022, Elton John and Paul McCartney performed there. In 2023, Stevie Nicks, the Eagles, and Guns N' Roses are all scheduled to perform there.

Knoxville moved up 56 spots from last year into Pollstar's Top 50 concert markets for 2023 thanks to these high-profile events.
