Facebook Revamps Creator Studio Into Stand-Alone AI Companion App for Creators

  • 25-June-2026

Facebook announced on Wednesday that it is transforming its Creator Studio platform into a dedicated AI-powered companion app aimed at helping creators expand their audiences on the social network.

By providing creators with access to this AI companion application, Meta is seeking to keep them engaged on Facebook as it competes for attention against platforms such as TikTok and YouTube. The company is also likely aiming to reduce creators’ reliance on third-party services like ChatGPT for content ideation and performance analysis.

The new application, which is currently being tested with a select group of creators, will feature Facebook’s recently introduced AI creator assistant as a built-in component. The assistant delivers personalized suggestions based on a creator’s content style, performance metrics, audience interactions, and objectives.

Creators typically need to navigate through charts and analytics dashboards to evaluate their performance, but the AI assistant will provide quick responses to questions such as “When should I post?” and “What are people saying in my comments?” Because the assistant operates conversationally, creators can also ask follow-up questions, including inquiries about how their audience has evolved over time.

In addition to the integrated AI assistant, the Creator Studio app will offer several new tools, including an AI-powered comment feature designed to identify the most important comments and generate reply drafts that match the creator’s own voice. According to Facebook, creators will have the ability to review, modify, and approve the suggested responses before publishing them.

When creators launch the app each day, they will be presented with a feed of daily priorities, including reviewing the performance of their latest post, monitoring progress toward goals, and identifying comments that require a response.

The announcement on Wednesday further expands Meta’s recent series of app launches. Last month, the company introduced a stand-alone Facebook Groups application called Forum, which operates in a manner similar to Reddit. Earlier in April, Meta released Instants, an app that enables users to share disappearing photos with their Instagram friends.

Meta’s app development pipeline continues to expand. On Tuesday, The New York Times reported that the company is developing its own prediction-market-style application, internally known as “Arena,” though the product has not yet been released.

The pace of development appears intentional. The Wall Street Journal reported in April that CEO Mark Zuckerberg told employees that AI-driven efficiencies would allow the company to create more applications than it has traditionally built.
