The May 2026 Wear OS update, which primarily focuses on security enhancements, is now being rolled out to the Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 7 in South Korea. To install the update, users can open the Samsung Wearable app, navigate to Watch settings, and select Watch software update. The smartwatch will then check for available firmware. If an update appears, simply tap Download and install. Once the process is complete, the watch will automatically restart to finalize installation.
