A list of devices receiving the official One UI 8.5 upgrade was made public by Samsung on May 6. On May 11, the upgrade will be extended to devices from 2024. The initial rollout has already begun for a few high-end phones that were introduced in 2025.

The company revealed an even more sophisticated distribution strategy for 20 devices, including mid-range Galaxy A phones, Galaxy Z foldables, Galaxy Tab tablets, and premium Galaxy S phones.
